ABOUT ME

I love going to new places close to home or farther away - to discover new people, cultures, languages, cozy places, quirky stores - the interesting things that add a wonderful twist to life! In search of things and people that make me feel happy.

I studied Neuroscience/Philosophy/World Religion at McGill University and I am now studying Medicine at McMaster University.

PHILOSOPHY

Learn - from whoever and whatever. I've found that there's always something to be learnt from each person. And appreciate family and friends - truly.

I love deep talks with people, good friends or someone I just met and reflecting with each other to further each other's thinking.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am definitely a new comer to couch surfing - but I have heard a lot about people's experiences hosting and surfing. I am a flexible and easy-to-get along with person, so let the couchsurfing begin!

Interests

alot of things - cosmology, philosophy of mind, cognitive science, the human anatomy, religious or 'spiritual' rituals, people, different places, having nice talks with strangers and having a great time!

One big part of my life is the arts - I love doing anything with my hands: knitting, pottery, painting, drawing, colouring, making things that are functional and beautiful, cozying-up a room, sewing, embroidery. I also want to learn to work with silver and weaving...the list goes on!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all sorts (except for really dissonant music) and books that are captivating to read. One of my favorite things to do on a nice evening is to make a nice meal and cozy up on the couch for a good movie!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being on the roof top of a hostel in Jerusalem at night - going to sleep and waking to the sounds of church bells, prayer calls from minarets echoing in all directions. Breath taking moment.

Cliff jumping and swimming in the open ocean in Hilo, Hawaii - both scary and exciting, humbling moment to realize how small I am on this earth.

Have worked on farms, lived in a monastery in the mountains, visited prisoners to talk about God, lived in Florence painting
