Overview
About Me
I'm an open-to-the-world person. I like learning something new.
I work in field of plasmas physics, also involved in some projects in IT and NGO field.
Trying to make the world a bit better by caring about environment and applying new techniques (not only hardware things, but also mental - like critical thinking) to daily life of people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to open Ukraine and my city for guests.
Also, I like traveling and meeting new interesting people. Couchsurfing let me feel the place where I'm staying from the inside, not like from a hotel o some excursion tour. Hope my guests feel the same too.

Music, Movies, and Books
Most of all I like science fiction. Among my favorite authors are: Stanislav Lem, Isaac Azimov, Strugatsky brothers, Robert Sheckley and others. I also really like Gerald Durrell.
I like rock music, but I'm not melomaniac.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the things I'm really proud of is finishing in Marathon. 42 km is a real challenge, for which I had to work for a long time. This year I've completed superrandonner series of bicycle marathons - starting from 200 and up to 600 km.
Teach, Learn, Share
In Kyiv, I'm a activist of U-Cycle (former Kyiv Cyclists' Association, AVK in Ukrainian) and I teach people not to afraid to ride a bike in the city. We develop interesting bike routes in Kyiv and suburbs. I'm also a member and volunteer of some more NGO, related with ecology and sustainable development.
I can show to my guests the cities which are native for me (Kyiv, Chernihiv), and teach any of the languages I know. I can advice on sports I'm involved in - running, bicycle, hiking.
For me, it is interesting to practice foreign languages, understand the culture of other countries, learn any useful and interesting information.
