ABOUT ME
i work by ohare airport as a computer programmer and live in the wonderful city of chicago. i work hard and play harder... trying to get out and travel to new places but i always find myself going back to the same spots again and again. i have great expectations for 2008
PHILOSOPHY
One of the quotes that has resonated very strongly with me forever is "be the change you wish to see in the world". It reminds me that there's always more I can be doing and to try to do at least one thing every day to align my life with that quote.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first intro to CS was through my current roommate... before he was my roommate. he hosted a bunch of people and would bring them out to parties or whatever was going on, so I got to meet some great people. We have hosted one person since we've lived together but I have yet to hear about or have a non-positive experience! When my roommate and I were in Barcelona we used CS to meet people to meet up with and we went to a CS event that was a ton of fun and met so many amazing people! I'd love to get more involved in the CS chicago community but my schedule right now just won't allow it... I do always love to meet new people though and fit it in whenever I can!
Interests
I'm recently vegan so one of my new passions is cooking and finding awesome restaurants that have vegan food. there are so many! I like going out for a sunday funday football day or going jogging by the lake. Chicago has so much to offer and I want to try to get everything I can out of this city while I'm here- been in the chicago area for 30 years (in the city itself for 7) and there's still so much to do!
