About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy my semester abroad in France and do lots of fun things while I'm here! :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a fun loving, outgoing person who is really into traveling, learning other languages and meeting new people. I enjoy spending time home, too, but after a few months I gotta see something new again.
I love all kinds of activities, especially outside when the sun is shining. =)

PHILOSOPHY

I have no particular one - I'm just trying to make the most out of my day meaning to make at least one person smile and accomplishing something that makes me feel like this has been a successful day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I've stayed with a couple of couchsurfers in the US and in Germany, I've been to meetings and a camping trip. I've always met the most amazing people - I really love couchsurfing and try to convince everyone of trying it. :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a couple of times and it was GREAT! I just thought that I could start hosting people, too, since I'm living in my own apartment right now. So text me! ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

I go for Techno and House though I listen to other kinds of music too.
I have no favorite movie; I like action, horror and Disney movies. =)
There's tons of books I like... You can always find me with a book in my hand, no matter whether it's on a bus, during break at university or at home. I especially like Ken Follet (just finished World without End; I could have kept reading for three days straight it was so good) and stories about people living in a foreign country and their experiences there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got on a plane for the first time in my life when I was 17, going to the US on a High School Year in Pennsylvania. I had been away from home before but never that long. It was a wonderful though oftentimes difficult experience but I'd never wanna change the way things went back then.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to share my experiences of living abroad, in a country where you know the language but that's pretty much it. Of being away from home and coping with being around people you don't know, trying to make friends. Of living in unfamiliar surroundings, finding your way around in a new city.
I'd love to learn from other couchsurfers what their experiences abroad and with couchsurfing have been. I'd like to learn about their lives and the amazing and strange things that have happened to them. =)
