About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live life to the fullest! :)
ABOUT ME
I am open minded, patient, diplomatic... I always try to be objective and understand everyone (which is often very complex). I like to think things over, find meaning in apparently simple things and talking about all sorts of random thoughts with my friends. I am fun to be around but will be a support during difficult times as well. I am a good listener, but I sometimes find it hard to trust others with my innermost thoughts and feelings, which makes some people think I'm shallow. I am enthusiastic and I love to live life, make the most of every moment and try to take every opportunity to explore and discover new experiences. My friends say I'm curious about the world and make the world curious about me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently have no couch to offer, unfortunately :( However, I like to be involved in the social gatherings that happen in Aberdeen and I would like to surf :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have only met couchsurfers in Aberdeen who have made me thirst for the same kind of experiences
Interests
I love meeting people and getting to know them. I enjoy cooking and baking, but mainly when it's for a group :) One of my dreams is to travel and learn how to cook a traditional dish from each country in the world! Dancing is one of my passions together with drama and art. I like to have good conversations which just go on till early in the morning without realising. I prefer going to the beach or the hills rather than going into the city, unless of course it's for a social gathering, art exhibition, theatre performance or a dance :) I find simple everyday things fascinating, but the most interesting is always the people around me. Whether they are my best and closest friends or strangers on the street, I always find people are the most intriguing of all.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am open to anything and love discovering new and surprising favourites. Currently I'm enjoying music I can dance to, like salsa, tango and bachata, but that is not the limit of my interest, the horizon goes far beyond! Book wise I have always enjoyed fantasy books of all kinds, but seem to be able to get caught up in anything except horror thrillers. Same goes for movies, I can't stand horror, gore and thrillers, but almost anything else has it's space and time :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The first moment that comes to mind is when I went to the Rainforest in Ecuador. The drive from Quito (the capital) to the jungle was just amazing, and the whole month I spent teaching children there just got better and better. Living with spiders, frogs, cockroaches, no electricity... it was one of the best experiences of my life (I miss hammock time!) :)
Two things that struck me on my trip to Japan were the fish market in Tokyo, which happens to be the biggest fish market in the world, and spending New Year's with my friend's family at a hot springs hotel where we had amazing New Year's food, karaoke and public bath :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach cooking and baking skills; English, Spanish or Basque; and the skill I have found the most useful, how to enjoy making a fool of myself :P
