I'm a pretty normal 27-year-old. I live in Washington DC, in Columbia Heights, and love my neighborhood. I haven't really had opportunities to travel in my life until recently, but I'm starting to take those opportunities.

I used Couchsurfing on my trip to New Orleans and had an awesome experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with someone from Couchsurfing in New Orleans, and it was great. I hung out with him and his friends, and they took me around to all the big touristy stuff as well as the hidden gems that you have to live there to know about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all sorts of music. My favorites are the Killers, Radiohead and Morrissey but I like just about anything. I love going to hear live music, whether it's a band I'm familiar with or not. I'm currently trying to learn how to play the drums.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Obama inaugurated as President after camping out in the freezing cold all night. Politics aside, being there that day, among all those people, was an experience I'll never forget.
