About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see as much of the world as my lifetime allows.

ABOUT ME

I thrive on travelling. after growing up in a small, rural town in southeast Kansas, I see the world as one big adventure! I enjoy meeting new people and getting a local's perspective on the places I visit. I am also passionate about food, music, anthropology, and learning in general. I'm 420 friendly, but not a big drinker. I do enjoy a nice adult libation from time to time, but 2-3 is this lush's limit.

PHILOSOPHY

"not all who wander are lost."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am unable to host right now, but I am hoping to do so in the near future. I believe staying with hosts provides a unique experience you simply cannot get elsewhere. If you want to truly discover a city, discover its inhabitants!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've not yet hosted, but I have surfed a couple times in 2010 and surfed again around england, scotland, and wales in 2014.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music is quite eclectic. The only thing I truly don't like is country music from like 2000 til now. For movies, I like anything but horror movies. I'm kind of a baby and don't like being scared. My favorite genre would definitely be documentaries. I don't do as much reading as I would like, especially because I'm currently in my first semester of my Masters program, so leisure reading is not part of my lifestyle these days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I consider my greatest achievement to be the relationships I've formed with people from home and abroad. I truly enjoy meeting and connecting with new people and learning about their journeys. Everyone has a unique story.

Countries I’ve Visited
