ABOUT ME

Once upon a time............
A born and raised country boy, now living the high life in the big city. Ran away from home (didn't really)when I was 21 to start seeing Australia. Lived and worked in Queensland for the next 4 years before coming back to Victoria for 12 months to sort myself out for my first overseas trip/adventure.
August 2002 I boarded a plane to the UK, to do a 12 month working holiday stint...... 3 years later I reluctantly got on a plane back home to Australia.
3 years in the UK allowed me to see a lot of amazing cities and countries in Europe and even got to got down to Brazil for an amazing New Years experience in 2004/05.
Now back in Australia I hung up my pack for a little bit while I sorted myself out with a home and a job, but two years ago I got the bug back after a snowboarding trip to New Zealand (which was awesome)
12 months of saving then saw me head over to the USA for a 5 week adventure with 4 friends and two of us had birthdays in Vegas (one was mine) So now the States is a place I need to explore more of, just opened my eyes that there is more to the country than what is the general preconception.
So 2012 is here and I'll take on a year of study, so any trips that I thought possible this year will have to take a back seat while I set myself up even better. Does not mean I can not I can meet others from far off places....will just have to do so in my own back yard.

PHILOSOPHY

All I can really think of as a personal philosophy is "don't sweat the small stuff" so in saying, those petty little dramas that happen in your life. Just let them go, life is to short to waste time on trivial stuff.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently unable to host at present due to having no room what so ever in my apartment as I am currently sharing with one other, but I would be more than happy to help people find their feet and show some sites here in Melbourne when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So I got to meet my very 1st CS buddy when I went to the States last year. Even though I wasn't hosted, I met an awesome person (Yaarit) Who gave me some brilliant tips on San Francisco. Hoping to expand my CS in 2012.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

*Helicopter ride over/and to the floor of the Grand Canyon was a pretty awesome birthday present.
*Being held a gun point was an amazing thing to have happen to me. (amazing as in I couldn't believe it was happening to me)
*I am sure there are more but I am having a memory block at this very minute.

*I can draw..... but not sure I could teach it.
*I was once a tradie, so I am handy with tool. I could defiantly teach handy man skills.
*I am a brilliant driver, and have the patients to teach others how to drive.
*And I can cook (okay stop looking so shocked, it's true)I could defiantly teach that!
