Overview
About Me
I would describe myself as a rather calm but friendly & adventurous person!
I grew up in Alexandria in Egypt and I L.O.V.E the sea and everything that relates to it! I like travelling, hiking, learning all kinds of language and trying new activities. I enjoy late night conversations with friends, sunsets, heights, finding good music and Mediterranean food & scents.
Although I don't really like the cold and snow - which I will get plenty of, next year - I can't wait to try snowboarding and other winter activities and to discover the World! I'm also trying to learn Spanish to be able to travel around Latin America and get the full experience - I'd love to visit Bolivia/Chile and to dive in Mexico.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's definitely a better travel experience! I love meeting up with locals & getting to know their culture, their favorite places, their language, hearing their funny stories about their city/country & sharing my own...etc.
I'm also very interesting in travelling and like to learn more languages

Music, Movies, and Books
Music has a very special and important place in my life. I listen to all kinds of music but I have a very very tiny preference for Blues & Reggae-ish songs. I also like Egyptian music , African ethnic music & Oriental Instrumental music.
I love reading, especially on Sunday afternoons, in a back corner of a coffee shop.. I'm particularly fond of history books but I would never say no to a good novel!
I wouldn't say that I'm cinephile but I very much enjoy watching movies in small town cinemas or summer/open air cinemas. I'm lately more into documentaries, auteur films and re-watching classics.
