ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Scott. I live in Sacramento, CA and I'm always looking for new exciting people to hang out with. I'm passionate about my job, and work very hard to get what I need. I'm generally very even-keeled and laid back, and tend to not let things bother me. If I make a mistake, I own up to it and try to make things right. And on the same note, if you do something to offend me, I prefer to politely make it known. It's easier to fix a problem than brush it under the rug.

I can often be found cruising my longboard around Midtown Sac, headphones on and enjoying the weather. I love watching sports, kicking back with my friends, and generally having a good time. I can't stand people that are fake, or liars, or go back on their word. But I'm also very forgiving. As long as you're honest and upfront, I'll return the favor. I also love an adventure. Given the opportunity, I would travel all the time. There's just so many places I want to visit while I'm still young.

I'm the sort of person that's happiest when I can share my joy with other people. I'd rather have lots of friends and deal with a meager salary as opposed to being rich and all alone. I know that isn't everyone's outlook on life, but it's one i hold true to for myself. I can't stand petty drama, and try to keep my life as smooth sailing as possible.

Life is short, and once we're gone, we're gone for good. So make the most of every day. Be good to others, help those in need, and you'll get so much more in return.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd love to meet people that are living their dream to travel the globe. I would truly appreciate getting to share stories about the various journeys people have undertaken. While I may not always be able to facilitate someone staying with me due to my hectic schedule, I am always up for helping in other ways. Whether it being showing people around town, giving ideas for fun things to do, or meeting up for lunch or coffee.

I can appreciate and enjoy nearly ANY kind of music. As long as there was skill and passion put into the making of it. I will sit through any movie turned on in front of me. I tend to read dark humor (such as Chuck Palahniuk), but also read lots of non-fiction books as well.

Hiked across western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee with my best friend. I've done lots of other hikes and adventures, but this one always sticks with me.
