Overview
About Me
I've lived in Vancouver since I was 4, and love travelling. I was always jealous of kids who moved around a lot with their families, but I realize now that maybe I was lucky. I also am a very naturally curious person, and love learning from others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love anything that's geniune, local and real. So it could be as simple as playing frisbee to walking around the best attractions in a town :)
As for couches: I don't have my own yet, but as soon as I do, it will be open for surfing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a couple great experiences with couchsurfing as a way to meet amazing people, get a real relationship with a city, and have fun in town. Meeting people is my favourite part of travelling!
Interests
Liking something on everyone's playlist. Picking the tastiest thing on a menu. Mario Kart. Making people feel less awkward. Finishing books in a couple of days. Burning food. Overlooking the small details. Finding my way around. Summarizing things.

Music, Movies, and Books
Cartoons, comedy and French films. Nothing specific comes to mind, though.
Some movies that changed my life are:
Fight Club
Kung Fu Panda
The Green Mile
And yes I know it's a strange combination...
Music:
There's a good chance I'll find something I like on every playlist. I like French pop music, top 40 once in a while, indie Canadian rock bands, and a lot of artists from the 70s (Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, CCR, Santana).
Books: Too many to list. I recently read 100 years of solitude, and I'd like to read Love in the Times of Cholera in Spanish someday. I really like Oscar Wilde, Frank McCourt and who doesn't love JK Rowling!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about the randomest crap from people, but my special interests are language exchanges and talking about travel stories. As for things I can teach...English is my maternal language if you'd like to practice, and I taught a kid's karate class for years so I can show you some basic self defense too.
