ABOUT ME
An Icelandic bloke all excited about exploring the whole planet and trying to get the most out of life´s possibilities! I am friendly, open minded and enjoy being around with nice people!
I´ve traveled widely, around Europe and Latin America and been an exchange student in Ecuador and Guatemala.
I´m currently taking a Bs. degree in Biology at the University of Iceland, but my fingers are really starting to get itchy for some more traveling soon...
Un chamo Islandés emocionado de explorar el mundo entero. Trato de disfrutar lo más de la vida porqué la vida es llena de posibilidades! Me gusta estar alrededor gente abierta y sincera. Y ya...
PHILOSOPHY
"If you don´t follow your dreams you might as well be a vegetable."
"The very basic core of a man´s living spirit is his passion for adventure. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun."
-Christopher Mccandless
"There is no such thing as talent. Only inspiration and ambition"
-Scrooge Mcduck
"Mind over matter"
"Keep up"
That´s about it! In short, any experience you get in life can teach you something. Thus, by looking at things with open eyes you can get something good out of anything. For every moment lost another one is born. So using the knowledge you get from the past is important to make tomorrow better! Makes sense, eh!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I´ve been a traveler. Both the one with the camera around the neck looking for the next hostel available, and also the one going off with the locals. The later option is a way for both the traveler and the host to open their minds towards new cultures. And that´s the way to go.
The CS project is definitely the thing our world needs to open peoples minds towards new things.
Couchsurfing es una nueva experiencia para mi, pero me gusta lo que hace y he tratado de hablar sobre el proyecto con la gente que conosco.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Used it to stay with and meet up with people in Latin America as well as a source of information on various matters. Couch surfing has brought me nothing but good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Amazing Amazon was Amazing. Climbing the high Andes was an epic experience. Diving Mexico´s cenotes was damn cool. Staying with the locals and indigenous people in Latin America was live changing. The countless Icelandic experiences I´ve had are priceless.
So you see, there is no "one" thing above another. They are all experiences which have changed the way I look at this world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know how to climb, love teaching the art of climbing. Play a little on the djembe drums as well. Can teach spanish, Icelandic and a few bad danish words for those willing to learn. I would really like to learn kayaking, surfing, any language, or just about any skill there is to learn!
Puedo ensenar escalada, Islandés, Inglés, malas palabras en danés... Quisiera aprender a manejar kayak, a surfear, cualquier idioma y además qualquier cosa!
