CURRENT MISSION
To steer clear of a mundane life and to live to the fullest :-)
ABOUT ME
Hello All !
This is very new and exciting to me. My cousin is currently couch surfing around the world, and he inspired me.
I have just finished my first year of teaching, and I now feel like I need some adventure. I took a look around my school and thought, "is this it?". That's when I put the year down to a wonderful learning experience, and put myself in the mindset to travel. Here I am!!
I love to be surrounded by positive people. I laugh any chance I get, as well as trying (often in vain) to make others laugh.
Although horribly cliche, I do think life is short. I don't want to ever have any regrets. I don't like failure, rejection or heartbreak, but I'm not afraid of it. Now is my time for adventure.
PHILOSOPHY
I have asked myself this question a lot over the last 6 months. I suppose I am hoping to find this out during my travels.
If I had to brainstorm:
* To make other people smile
* To give and receive
* To challenge myself and others
* To contribute
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
As I am new to the website, I can tell you how I intend to participate. I will happily offer my couch upon returning from my travels. Currently I live in the country, so that would have to be something you would want to see. When I am settled back in Australia, I am more than happy to offer myself as a host. Wherever I may be living! :-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have not as yet experienced any couch surfing. I am eagarly following my cousins travels though. It all looks fun, and positive to me!
Interests
I am a real animal person. I couldn't imagine settling in to a life which doesn't have a pet in it. I have two beautiful dogs, and one very demanding cat.
I can't get enough of music. I'm a mood music lover. Whatever will compliment the situation, is the perfect music for me to be listening to!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It is so simple, and unlikely to be seen as amazing to others. The first night I spent in Kaohsiung, Taiwan was spent drinking beer from local vendors before running through the city in the pouring rain back to the hotel. It was such a simple moment that represented so much. I was exhilirated, humbled and set off on my journey to travel more.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a registered teacher, so any advice I can offer about teaching in Australia I will happily do.
I am well versed in life in Melbourne and Brisbane, so could be helpful to form connections in those cities.
