Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Growing food, growing life.
ABOUT ME
Lover of many things of the past. Not for their quaintness but for their ingenuity, for their ability to make do with what is available.
I always try to learn from others, and emulate the good qualities that I see in people. I can be quiet sometimes, but I am at a loss of words sometimes, and prefer to remain silent than mumble incoherent thoughts. I am 85% of the time vegetarian, but as the percentage shows, flexible in nature.
PHILOSOPHY
Be thankful for what you have, and know what enough is. Ware tada taru o shiru, a zen saying about knowing "what just enough is."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just getting started. I have had great experiences, and find it wonderful that this opportunity exists to meet great, conscious, generous people and interact on an intimate level that would otherwise be impossible, at least for me... Unfortunately, I am not yet in a position to host, but by surfing i hope to learn and expand my horizons.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Just started, although I must admit that I have been known to sleep on many a couch of friends even before i even new about couch surfing!
Interests
Photography, woodworking, meditation, permaculture, music, reading, cooking, and movies.
Most of all though, I love creating things, and it is a mystery why I have not done more of it.
