COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only been surfing once as of yet, but it was a fabulous experience! In Chicago, a wonderful guy named Alasandro took my boyfriend and I in for two nights. Gave us a perfect blow up mattress to sleep on and even made us dinner. I can only hope all my experiences will be this unique and fantastic.

I have also recently had a surfer come stay with me for a night and it was such a wonderful, rewarding experience! Went out to grab a bite to eat together and then came back and he used his skilled knowledge of mixing drink to make my boyfriend and I some delicious beverages while we chatted away all evening. So wonderful getting another person's story.

兴趣

Scuba diving and anything ocean/ water related. Reading anything I can get my hands on. Traveling as much as funds will permit me (same goes for seeing live music). Baking delicious adult beverage themed cupcakes (attempting to start my own business).

Pretty much any movie, namely horror. I listen to just about any kind of music, though classic rock is my jam. I read quite a bit as well, things from nonfiction biographies to long fantasy series.

I have seen and been to some pretty spectacular concerts over the years. Music is a pretty high item in my life and being able to see some iconic figures play has been incredible for me.

I never knew I wanted to learn all about these certain items until I had my most recent surfer stay with me. He had a wealth of knowledge about the restaurant industry as well as starting a small business in the food industry. After picking his brain for half the evening, I feel so much more confident having a starting point for starting my cupcake business. He gave me solid recommendations as to where to begin and this only could have come from someone who has been there before. From this experience alone, I will forever be a Couch Surfer and a Hoster simply for the exchange of knowledge and experiences!
