ABOUT ME

"Friendship is a single soul dwelling in two bodies" this is my mission statement. I travel by myself constantly because if I wait for other people I will never go. Many of my friends tell me that I am crazy when I take off with little planning or preparation but are jealous the moment I return with tales of my epic journeys. I love my camera and when it is not with me I feel as though a part of me is gone. It is my way of sharing the world with others in hopes that they too will one day seek these things for themselves. I was born while my parents were on a road trip so I suppose I wanted to travel from day one.
After taking many adventures this year I realized that I am happiest when I have no where to be, no one to be and can experience people just being people. So here I am.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a HUGE music problem that lead to me to SXSW for the past 7 years. My loves fall somewhere in between Dubstep-Billie Holiday-Mastodon-Jedi Mind Tricks-Tom Waits. I am an avid reader. Top books at the moment are: Ishmael, What is the what, Brave New World, Ham on Rye, The Stranger and anything by HST. I watch too many documentaries but enjoy artistic independent films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I think about it everything I have done is amazing. If I had to choose one that stood out more than any other it would have to be Burning Man.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love if someone can teach me Portuguese and Spanish!! I'm trying but some assistance would be greatly appreciated. I am a crafty lady who loves to take nothing and turn it into something. Maybe I can help you figure out how to create something amazing without having to become a consumer.
