About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is learn the most of every experience, travel a little, meet new places develop new abilities, meet new people and find a great place to live.

ABOUT ME

I'm a wordy person while writing, a shy person when in person and when you get to know me, I'm a crazy enthusiast of music, new music (except tribal that thing does not flow right). Anyways, I tell bad jokes and some of them good.
I enjoy reading (yes I have mentioned this very much). If I'm not outdoors at least once a day I get depressed and kind of mad. Coffee is one of the greatest inventions of all time and tasty. I've a knack for drawing and writing, the drawing I'll show around sometimes, some people have tattooed some of the drawings, anyways, the writing might never be read by another human being, or it might, I sometimes write it on my tumblr (no I don't have swag and no, I'm not a hipster, yes 9gag watchers I know.) I tend to get obssessed over a project or topic and when everything is out of my system I'm a normal person. Most of the time.
My mom calls me crazy irrespectful child, my dad calls me bohemian, my friends just call me to go out and party or drink (coffe or other). I'm the one with the "hey guys, let's go watch this movie" or the "people, we need to go hicking" and the obnoxious one "we need to study", I'm also a bad influence, sometimes, when the fun is needed .

PHILOSOPHY

Do it, there's no other way around if you want it, just do it, think wise and find the way.
When your soul is down, take care of it through the senses.

Honesty, that's the biggest thing I'll ask from people and the most difficult to get, I don't beg for loyalty cause that is more difficult and implies a bigger effort on my part, I'm lazy like that.
I just enjoy honest and sincere arguments or points of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In what? community? I'm a library mole, how in heavens do you want me to participate? I've done my social working, helped kids learn math, helped my brothers learn math.
Plus I love taking care of small plants, mostly herbs to cook.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a great experience while in Culiacan, people there are warm and chill.

Interests

New cultures (new to me, old to the world), foreign languages, the travel experience, the get to know the nature, to meet and get new expressions/experiences.
I've got this theory about leaving a mark in the world and help a little, that's why I work a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books

Difficult thing, here goes a try, and this might change in a month or less:
Movies: My best friends wedding, Dr. Strangelove, Mechanical Orange, Lilo and Stitch, The Bogus Adventures of Bill and Ted, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, etc
Music: (by gender and then artist)
1. Hard Rock, Alternative Metal, Rock (oldie), Jazz, Blues, Soul, Electronic, Punk, Grunge, Salsa, Acustic, Classic (just a little), Bossa Nova.
2. Audioslave, Tool, The Beatles, Nina Simone, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Imelda May, Alabama 3, Pendulum, Elvis, Daft Punk, Metallica, Bruce Springtseen, Radiohead, Eva Cassidy, Zoé, Pearl Jam, Aqualung, Nirvana, Janis Joplin, Muse, Goo goo Dolls, Santana, Kenye Wayne Shepherd, The Dandy Warhols, etc.

Books: A good thriller is always welcome like Thr3e, The Historian, something Stephen King related, Night Watch (recently) and some of Milan Kundera work.
Leaves of Grass and the Divine Comedy are the last books I read, before them where Everything is Illuminated, A Night Summer Dream, The Four Agreements, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things, hmm. I've watched the first steps of two former adorable babies now little critters.
I helped cleaning the green areas (getting those real green and not just a name) of a public school, tried to deliver some ecological advice and practical sense in taking care of plants and it worked, enthusiastic 11-14 year old kids are difficult to get.
I've done some pretty reckless things because it seemed like fun.
I've taken dancing classes to remedy my two left foot and uncoordinated situation and it kind of worked.
I've done some literary achievements with some poetry and I've watched a ceiba grow and give the most beautiful flowers, and then a hummingbird who pays visit delivering hope. I've painted a big part of the house.
I've hiked a little in Chipinque but couldn't go on for long periods because of a boxing injury (I took boxing classes a while ago). I'm determined to paint the 20 amino acids on my wall just next to my hummingbird.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn from everything.
All the knowledge you'll like to share is welcome if there's culture and passion behind it, I'm in.
I can share, well knowledge, advice if I have a wise word to utter or gibberish to make people smile.
I can share my couch and part of my life and earthy possessions that are not much.
I can share happy stories and sad stories, intriguing ones too. I do have some esoteric tendencies but nothing major. I'm a scientist who knows that sometimes there are events unexplained to science. (No I'm not Jaime Mausan, if you don't know him, google it)
