About Me
HOW DO I EVEN BEGIN THIS SECTION? It's just a big blank white square. Ok, phew... now there's a bit more text. I'm just gonna write this stream of consciousness thing here and see what happens.
I'm currently trying to read Harry Potter in French and progress is slowwww, mainly because I can't get over the fact that magic wands are called "baguettes magiques" in French. Today I'm going to see my new small garden house, which is basically only a garden with the tiniest little battered old cottage you could imagine sitting on it (10 sqm). I'm going to be living there! No water, no electricity, but a lot of opportunities for growing my own vegetables and learning how to reburbish and build houses. I'm really excited! I don't know when I'll be able to host there, but I'm hoping soon.
Other than that, I thrive when I'm around people, or when I get to have great conversations, listen to music and sing, play football or volleyball on the beach, be outside, dance, cook and eat scrumptious food or simply when there's a lot going on at the same time. I also feel quite good when I read a book and eat a snack on my own. Like if I'm reading Harry Potter and eating a baguette.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea of building trust between strangers and finding friends in whatever corner of the world you may be. It seems like the best way of meeting people all over the world as well as getting to take part of other people's adventures as they pass through your town.
I'm in the start-up of a project refurbishing a small cottage and trying to become selfsufficient on veggies, fruits and berries in 1 year, so I'm not able to host right at this moment until I've got my bearings and done some work on the place.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's gonna be too difficult to list favourites in these categories. I like music that gives me goosebumps, that makes me want to dance or music that makes me cry. I like movies in which nothing happens. And I like books that other people have whole-heartedly recommended to me because the book made them think or feel something important.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I threw a coconot at my friend's kitchen floor (because her mother told me that was how she opened coconuts), but I used too much force and the coconut broke into a hundred pieces and splattered coconut water all over the walls and her two cats. They still hate me. The cats that is, not my friend and her mom. They love me. I hope.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you a great piano party trick that will make everyone a blues musician and the art of making pancakes on 4 frying pans simultaneously.
