CURRENT MISSION
to not lose my passport.
ABOUT ME
Do you know what an Awesumicornasaurus is? If you think you can imagine what one might look like, we'll get along just fine. If not, perhaps I'll draw you a picture of what I think it would look like. Aaaanyway, I live for all the best things in life - you know what they are. Music, food, colour, nature, art, trees, water, dancing, laughing til your stomach hurts and your face feels like it's going to fall off, camping, animals, festivals, mushrooms, pine nuts etc etc. If you don't know what these things are, perhaps we need to work on it.
I'm a Tour Guide in Australia, about to start leading trips in South America later this year. I take people camping for a living... I'd say I can't complain but there's always something you can complain about. Like when your face hurts from smiling.
I'm dropping through Spain and Portugal this summer on my way to Germany for a wedding and then onto South America. I need to learn some Spanish and Portuguese so hoping to meet some locals and do some of that talking thing. Perhaps you have a couch for me. I don't need a whole couch - I fold up small so you can put me pretty much anywhere and I'll be able to nap. Easypeasy.
Not much of a reader? I have pictures on here instead. That's me doing stuff.
PHILOSOPHY
- Don't hurt things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to host plenty when I had a place to host. As a tour guide, I'm nomadic so don't have my own space but if I ever settle, I'll invite you all over!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I started couchsurfing in 2007 when i was a broke and lost little backpacker in Europe. All my hosts took such good care of me, i vowed to pass on the happy when i got back to Australia. Oh and I don't travel broke anymore!

Music, Movies, and Books
Films: I like Fight Club, The Big Labowski, Memento, Snatch, Amelie, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Team America, (I should update this list but can't think of any movies I've seen recently.... Life of Pi? That was good). Ooh Django Unchained!
Music: VERY important to me. I often focus travels around music festivals. This year I am getting to NOS Alive to see Radiohead for my first time ever (hurrahyippy!) But ALSO I enjoy that doof doof, that smooth ambient, that rockin stuff, that classic stuff, those drums, that bass, them folky lovely woodsy sounds, a psychadelic trance, an undefinable "what would we call this?", some jazz, all the Funk - music feeds my soul and I want my soul to get Fat.
Books: I love books. But not all books. I'd like to write a children's book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Stopped a rogue crocodile who was galloping towards freedom on Mitchell St (main street of Darwin, Northern Territory) after it escaped it's holder. Sure it wasn't very big, but neither am I.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach- i can teach you how to worm the dancefloor
Come to Adelaide and i will Share the good beer with you! Come to Darwin and I will share my knowledge of trees. When travelling I sometimes share my snacks.
I want to learn the drums or singing or guitar or anything musical. I feel like I've missed my calling to be a rockstar and that's mostly due to lack of skill at any of these things.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good times. I'll bring the beer/wine/coconut water... whatever you drink. Or snacks. In theory I'd love to cook you dinner, but realistically I like to leave myself open to being caught up in daily events when I'm out and about so it's not always going to happen.
