ABOUT ME

I am a care free Aussie bloke who just wants to travel and enjoy life. I like to have a joke and don't take anything too seriously. I can talk with anyone and one of the greatest parts of travel to me is meeting new interesting people. I really enjoy carrying a conversation about important or interesting topics but at the same time could discuss the Simpsons for hours on end.

PHILOSOPHY

Everyone deserves a chance, don't label or critisize people without knowing them.
Don't take life to seriously, you'll never get out alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently travelling and as such hope to build up a bunch of couch surfing debt through Europe then work it off when I get home :-). I love meeting new people so I am definately going to continue from a hosting perspective when I finally do go home and settle down.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only Couch surfed with one person so far as I am new to this and his name was Marm. He was so cool and his parents were lovely, the perfect first experience of this website. I hope to have many more like it.

Interests

I love to play sport and do athletic things such as hiking and bike riding and many other outdoor activities. I am also a closet nerd in that I love star trek and even play a card game based on the show and movies. I love the snow and boarding and skiing. But most of all I like to talk to people and see what differing opinions exist in the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading fantasy books mainly and there are so many that I wont start to list them all but the best is definately Magician by Raymond E Feist. At the same time however I have read some brilliant non-fiction books, the best of which is a book titled 'A Fortunate Life' by A.B.Facey. This was a book given to me by my mother to inspire me and it has definately done this and I recommend that everyone read it. My favorite movie is Braveheart... I can't explain that in any greater detail. As for music I like to listen to a bit of everything but my favorite band is probably ACDC.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of the most amazing things I have done is flying an old model fighter jet and being taught how to barrel roll and backflip. I have always wanted to move into aviation so my friends bought me this for my 21st and it was absolutely awesome.
