Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I here? Because traveling to me means to live more than one life. Feeling and trying many lives, in more than one culture, at more than one place, in different climates, surrounded by different people.

BOOKS I have an amazing ability to completely lose myself in whatever I am reading. I enjoy adventure books by Jules Verne, Herman Melville, Daniel Defoe, Mark Twain, Arthur Doyle, Jack London, J.R.R. Tolkien, etc.
I'm also fascinated in mystery-detective novels by Edgar Allan Poe, Dan Brown and Umberto Eco.

MUSIC I enjoy italian music (Eros Ramazzotti, Al Bano & Romina Power, Toto Cutugno, Pupo), Sung poetry (Alina Orlova, Domantas Razauskas, Liūdni slibinai), jazz (Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong), rap (Eminem), Blues/Soul (Etta James, Bill Withers), New Wave (Кино, Аквариум, Nautilus Pompilius), Soft Rock (DDT, Сплин, Elton John), Classic Rock (Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, etc.) Some Pop... Country... I also like Opera and Musicals. As you can see my house is never quiet. I don't imagine my life without the music.

MOVIES My favorite movies are: The Shawshank Redemption, Forest Gump, The Green Mile, The Others, Vertigo, The Butterfly Effect, Memento, The Pianist, etc..

FOOD Love Italian, Mexican, Chinese food. I'm generally not picky except that I don't like seafood. Other than that I am pretty easy going.
