About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To look like Wolverine

ABOUT ME

All about me? 28 year old - just quit working for Yahoo! for 5 years - and looking for my next adventure. I think it involves driving down to central america and maybe starting a bnb for adventure tourers (motorcycle and 4x4 peeps)

Days currently are filled with riding my bike around town, working out, DJing in my living room, working on my website, eating and cooking good food.

I also recently started playing badminton again. I have an extra racket if you wanna hit the birdy around.

I don't drink, don't smoke and am allergic to cats! I do however have long grey hair.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and Let Live, enjoy life and try to laugh as much as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by opening my house to other CSers and friends of friends that need a host, a couch, a bed a shower and a laundry machine or just someone to talk to.

I usually try to bring laughter to any host that chooses to accommodate me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted and been hosted over 15 times - not one bad experience from any of them. Love to meet new people - simple as that.

I did have one particular CSer that was just too damn nice it was awkward...

Interests

cycling, trackstands and ballz to stem skids, inappropriate jokes, tinkering and wrenching on things.

Did you know that knick knacks in French is Brick a Brak but in German it's shnicks shnacks? How hilarious is that?

Music, Movies, and Books

Finished Slaughterhouse Five, and am really enjoying "The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles" from Haruki Murakami - what an amazing book. Also reading "The Four Hour Work Week" trying to figure out how to get the most out of life - while working just the right amount. The 40+ hour work week is no longer working.

Just finished The Alchemist - so now I'm looking for my Personal Legend.

Reading the Harry Potter series - entertaining

Reading Steve Martin's "Born Standing Up"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent a summer in Greece trying to hook up hotels with pay as you go internet access. With the way Greece is doing right now - I'm pretty glad that didn't work out.

Spent 3 weeks at Burning Man. That was awesome! Skied and Mountain Biked all the resorts in British Columbia!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to make a Shepards Pie. I can also make a mean cup of coffee. And I can show you how to fix your bike.
