I'm on a hiatus from travel right now while I get my video game company up and running. But I'm hoping for some big mountaineering trips soon.

I suppose my friends would describe me as someone who simultaneously laid-back and intense. I'm very driven in whatever I do, but tend to believe that even when everything is going wrong, it will all sort itself out in the end (and it always does).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted a number of couch surfers with my boyfriend Tomas (his profile is mtbikedevil), and it's always been a positive experience. I also did some CouchSurfing in Italy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally listen to pop, punk, and alternative when I'm in the States, but I like being exposed to stuff that I wouldn't be able to hear on the radio stations there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During January 2005, I spent 17 days in Argentina climbing Mt. Aconcagua - the highest mountain in the Americas. From the summit, I raised the gay pride flag to the highest point from which it has ever been flown.
