ABOUT ME

New to this site, primarily checking it out for an impending trip to Europe (France and Italy). I realized the first time I traveled that it is one of my passions, and I needed to do it to stay sane. I am an artist, activist, and lover. I am also a fighter for what I believe in, and was enlisted in the US Army for 5.5 years. My life is constantly changing, and I cherish each new experience. I like to stop and appreciate everyday beauty, especially in nature. I can talk for hours, and love having personal connections. I am prone to "geek out" about science, current events, or technology. I love music, and dancing is liberating. Deeply concerned with helping people and making a positive impact!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short and we're all in it together. Much can be learned if you only listen. Nature is incredible, and a deep understanding of it only enhances its beauty and elegance.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I not only want a free place to stay, I also want to share my experiences with others and learn theirs in turn. Nothing beats the thrill of making a new life-long friend. I have kept up international friendships successfully and plan on continuing that trend!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with folks in Mykonos, Greece, after having just met them. Also stayed with newly met friends in Germany. Neither were through this site, but enjoyed the experience immensely!
