About Me

I like anything and everything that has to do with art. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, performances, film, poesy, digital, art galleries, museums, you get the idea...
Besides all that; I also write (mostly poetry) and I am working towards one day getting published.

I am committed to making this world a better place in anything I do...

I find joy in the simple things in life... But I also like the extremes (bungee jumping anyone?)
I enjoy architecture and obviously traveling.
I enjoy photography, and not just on my phone.
Although I very much enjoy quiet times; I can also have a conversation for hours, but as the saying goes, it takes two to tango.
Speaking of tango, I would like to learn it very well, I've taken some classes but is not enough.
I don't smoke and I would prefer people to host me not to smoke either, however if you do, who am I to judge you...
I want to see the world. Fill my passport with stamps from all over; and fill up my mind and heart with memories I will never forget.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see the world. I'm not only interested in sightseeing, but rather experiencing life as a local wherever I go.
I don't want to wake up one day when I'm 130 years old, regretting not having travelled and discovered more of what this wonderful world has to offer. I don't want to have too many should've, would've, could've wondering what could have been, thinking I should have travelled more, wondering what would have happened...
That's the simply truth...
Why would I prefer couch surfing over a hotel?
There is nothing better than having a conversation with locals, rather than with a front desk clerk at a cold hotel lobby...
I'm here for more than just a place to sleep, I want to make friends all over the world that can potentially last a lifetime. That's why I'm here looking for like minded people.
Are you one of them?

Music, Movies, and Books

-Music?? All kinds of music, and when I say that I really mean all kinds of music; for instance I find the vibrations of the Cello very soothing, that's not to say I don't enjoy dancing to Latin music (salsa, bachata etc), or jumping to techno music... I really enjoy live jazz... In short, my playlist includes from Sade to Guns and Roses, from Duke Ellington to Michael Jackson, from The Weekend to Ed Sheeran, from Duffy to Queen, from Calle 13 to Julio Iglesias... You get the idea...
-Movies?? Mostly independent films over Hollywood mediocracy.
-Books?? On the Road, by Jack Kerouac (no wonder I'm on couch surfing haha) My favorite authors include James Baldwin, Salarrué, Apollinaire, Garcia Marquez among others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I taught a man to read and write.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach? That's for you decide what you want to learn from me, I am an open book, if you want to read me.
Learn? Willing to learn anything and everything, specially new languages and cultures...would you teach me yours?
Share? Laughs, travel stories, my poetry. My ears for your stories?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Intellectual conversations, laughes, my poetry.
Help with household chores,
Share my ears for your stories, or for you to practice your English? Spanish?

(By the way, I am not 129 years old -obviously, that's just the oldest couchsurfing allows me to put- but only those who read my whole profile would know that... I supposed, I want to be friends with those who actually read what others have to say, (do you know in what country is my picture taken??) so if you're reading this, it is already a plus, so I would like to get to know you...)

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, El Salvador, France, Guatemala, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State
