ABOUT ME

My name is Matt. I am always looking, asking, laughing and loving.

I have noticed in my travels so far that it is instinctual for me to offer help.

I believe in optimism. There is no time in life for negativity and life is so much funnier if you choose to look at the silver lining.

PHILOSOPHY

I do not want to have an existence where I always look at photos of the past or make arrangements for the future. I want to Be Here Now. True happiness is only experienced in the present. If we put forth all of our energy to reliving what was or planning for the future, we may feel happy based on a manipulated memory or a hope for what will be, but there will always be something missing. The present is the time we live in, so let's live.

I was born, I went around the world on a ship, I bought a one way flight to New Zealand and came back 15 months later, I have driven across America with my dog 5 times.
