About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see as much of Europe as possible while on exchange.
ABOUT ME
My independent travelling experiences have only begun quite recently last year. In fact, I travelled to more countries and cities in the past five months than I have ever seen in my entire life!
I'm currently on exchange in Manchester, England, studying law, which is a subject I strangely fell in love with somehow along the way. Undoubtedly, these past five months have been the most awesome time of my life, and oh the places I've been and the people I've met!
You could describe me as a practical romantic who loves music, books, sports, the outdoors and new adventures. Some of the things I really hope to do include going diving, climbing a mountain, finishing a full marathon and a triathlon and writing my own songs. And of course, seeing more of the world and meeting people from different cultures.
Generally, I'm quite easy-going though because I'm really shy and introverted, some people mistake it as unfriendliness. Three things I value most in life: God, family and friends-- I would do almost anything for my friends and family to the best that I can.
I put my heart and soul into everything that I do, and that includes relationships, sports and work. At the end of the day, I may be a little emotionally-retarded and sometimes ridiculously bad at expressing myself, but I hope that people eventually understand how much they mean to me :)
PHILOSOPHY
To keep my promises and to love all a little bit more.
Passion matters most-- do what I love and love what I do, to the best of my abilities.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't had much experience couch-surfing as yet, but I think it's a really interesting concept. Have hostelled a lot and met some amazing people in Brugge and Koln, but I would really love to meet some local people too, which is why I'm trying out Couch-surfing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only couch surfed once in Vienna, and it was a very nice experience. Our host was friendly and very generous, though it would have been nice if we could have spent more time with her!
Interests
Sports, outdoors, travelling, music, books
The first sport I really loved was badminton, but eventually I came to love kayaking a lot during the two years in Junior College when I raced for the school. The rush of adrenaline and sheer joy of crossing the finishing line is simply inexplicable.
I love music too, and one of my greatest regrets in life is quitting piano when I was 7. 8 years later, I picked up the guitar on my own and am absolutely in love with it, even though I play more of the electric bass nowadays. A lot of music appeals to me, but among my favourite genres are acoustic rock, indie and jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping into a freezing lake at 5am in the morning in south Switzerland-- I've always been told that I live my life too safely and make all the rational decisions, but this was really the highlight of it all. Once in a while, I'm willing to step out of the security of safe choices :D
