ABOUT ME

If you asked my friends...they'd say I'm a Mexican Seth Rogan hahaha. Naw, but seriously, I asked for the sake of this, and they described me as a good guy, chill, loyal, fun, funny, not terribly crazy but still a good time. Wherever I live I try and build a good community of people one way or another, usually through some kind of activity. I also like sharing those communities and activities with new people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to host more people and show them around, or just give people a safe and free place to drop their packs, go do their thing and then come back and crash for the night. Kick in a few bucks and I'll happily make pancakes from scratch for breakfast.

I love doing random things, from martial arts to ultimate frisbee to snorkeling or even just lying on a beach. I really love people and hanging out, especially when good food is involved. I also like to explore and get lost. Recently bought a motorcycle!

Music, Movies, and Books

I always need new music. I'm already a fan of Rock, Hip Hop, Swing, Tropical, a bit of Jazz, a bit of Bluegrass, and various other things. Feel free to play me whatever's on repeat in your music library.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I get awestruck every time I realize where I'm at and what I'm doing right now teaching and traveling in SE Asia. Some of the others include the beaches of Okinawa and The Philippines, eating chicken adobo from scratch after spending a day handing out food in the slums of Manila, sunsets in the Mid West, thunderstorms on the Colorado river in Arizona, summer storms on the east coast, and exploring the cathedrals of Mexico. Oh yea, and ask me about how I broke my shoulder.

I know a good bit about Salsa, Bachata and a little swing dancing, also I feel I'm a good cook, and I dabble in martial arts and ultimate frisbee. I'd be willing to share anything I know with anyone who asks.
