ABOUT ME

I'm just a normal girl with a very strange sense of humor. But I don't bite. Really, I don't. I'm out there, zany, crazy, weird, and really sweet underneath it all. I'm interested in everything. And I do mean everything. Star Wars, opera, physics, art, insects, languages, philosophy, etc..... I love to learn. All knowledge is good knowledge.

Currently I am taking personal support worker, and am planning to take nursing in the fall of 2011. After which I plan to relocate to Greater Los Angeles and pursue a life-long interest in physics. I don't know how good I'll be at it, but ya never know if ya don't try!

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that all people have greatness in them. And I like to see if I can find that spark when I'm talking to people. I believe that hospitality is one of the founding principals of any society. I believe that living honorably and living honestly - whatever that means to you - is the best way to live. I believe that truth and morals and honor are often up to interpretation, and I accept and encourage other viewpoints and opinions than my own.

I play tour guide a fair bit, and meet people to check out events around town. Haven't hosted yet, but I am hoping to be able to when my crazy life settles down in the fall.

I'll read anything. From textbooks for the hell of it, to fluffy fiction novels.

Music mostly I listen to hard rock or metal. I also have a substantial collection of easy listening and classical.

I think growing up in the middle of the BC forests, with huge red cedars, bears and cougars is pretty amazing! And seeing the Northern Lights was pretty cool, too!

Cooking is a passion of mine. I love to cook for others and learn new recipes.

I can teach you some yoga and meditation techniques.

I can also teach you about the Viking runes. They are an alphabet for written language, but each character (rune) also has a deep, complex and insightful meaning. It is difficult to teach in a short amount of time, but if you are interested, I'll teach you as much as I can!

I would love to learn some sociology, poi, and urban homesteading.
