Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a good way to meet different people, to find new friends, to explore new countries, to learn another cultures.

Couchsurfing is a different now. It’s became worse and people treat it more in a consumerist way. They don’t trust each other, they are afraid of new encounters and they are afraid of changing themselves.

It’s a paradox but new epoch of Internet, the epoch of social media made people be more narrow minded, be more biased and less open.

I read so many arrogant, insulting introductions on CS. The way people think about themselves only because they host somebody. The way they treat other fellows. Remember if you host a person, you don’t give him a favor, the one who comes to you, gives you one.

The same is from surfers. I’ve meet a lot of users, who don’t even bother to talk with their hosts and think it is free hotels’ web site.
Anyway, let’s not judge, let’s spread hospitality. Each of us here.
