About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish this year long trip and offer my couch out to return all the kindness I've received

ABOUT ME

Happy-go-lucky, fairly excitable, easily distracted, creative, independent, nature-loving, spontaneous....

I love traveling and have been on the road for the last year and a half. I left home with a vague plan and route mapped out, which went completely to pot during week one... I'd planned on spending 4 days in San Francisco, but ended up taking 5 months to explore the west coast of the States! That pretty much sums up my life right now - I'm spontaneous and intuitive; on the go, but just as likely to find a spot I love and put down roots for a while. The people and culture are what makes a place for me - though I'd never overlook a drop-dead view!

I'm lucky to have a huge family and diverse group of worldwide friends, and am always looking to make some more.

PHILOSOPHY

"People grow through experience if they meet life honestly and courageously. This is how character is built" (borrowed from Eleanor Roosevelt)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have had only overwhelmingly positive experiences so far - each wonderfully different from the last. Very much looking forward to offering up my couch/bed when I get back to Brighton in June 09.

Thanks to my host and friend in Seattle, I even took part in a US news piece about Couch Surfing http://tinyurl.com/5wfwoe

Interests

Music, art, writing, new people, old people, the ocean, the mountains, growing and learning, the power of intention, hippie shit, jigsaw puzzles, being outside talking all night, travel (naturally), my family and friends.

I LOVE bedtime stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm constantly amazed by the kindness of strangers

I learned to live a better life... and continue to learn

I became the chief of a tribe on a tiny island in Fiji

I think something amazing happens pretty much every day if you open your eyes to it
