ABOUT ME

I am a traveling organic farmer. I have farmed in South Florida, Pennsylvania, and recently and currently in Michigan. I have somewhat of a home base in Dallas, TX where my parents live, but my home is the road mostly. In Michigan I also sing with a band, and am working on being a steward of our great mother earth. I love animals, I love people, I love! I am always looking to meet new people and learn as much as I can from everything. I love to cook, I cook vegan, vegetarian, anything, as long as it's healthy and delectable.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that the only way we can really survive and life fully is to keep it local, which means not only getting food and goods locally, but by forming community wherever you are, making sure you take time and enjoy people around you! Play! I try to learn from every experience. Everything in this world is so interconnected that we have to make sure to pay attention and really be mindful of all of those connections by making and strengthening connections among beings.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have really wanted to try couchsurfing and so far haven't had the chance. I believe that it is a righteous way to travel, and want to encourage it! I hopefully can settle somewhere in the future and offer up a couch. Right now, I am looking forward to experiencing as much as I can as vivaciously as possible.

Interests

I love animals, goats and dogs especially. I know how to milk goats and make cheese and yogurt. I love reading pretty much anything I can get my hands on. Right now I am studying organic farming, herb gardening, and earth magic. I love to sing, blues, rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz. Music is a huge part of my life, and I'll want to trade music for sure- and jam, if you play. I'm working on learning guitar, but am not good enough to show it to anyone else yet :).
