About Me
A vandwelling sound guy, lighting tech, general stagehand, chillout DJ, occasional promotor, writer, and artist.
Fast learner. Jack of many trades, master of few.
Intellectual (largely autodidactic). Often found deep in speculative conversations on fascinating topics ranging from particle physics to etymology to game design to social change to etc.
I enjoy spontaneous adventures, climbing things, singing along, bad puns, and more.
Am I even doing this right?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm all about reducing reliance on capitalism and finding subsistence without money (been living in a van for over 4 years), and so couchsurfing is a natural choice for travel lodging.
I promise to be mindful of space and to not exploit your hospitality. I've no interest in being a mooch.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Mostly chill electronica. Trip hop, atmospheric IDM, atmospheric DnB, chill psybreaks, and similar. There's probably chill examples I can get down on in just about any genre.
I'll always have a soft spot for my entry vector to electronic music: progressive trance.
Also: turn-of-the-millennium alt-rock anthems.
Happy hardcore's also kinda fun.
And I'm starting to take a bit of a liking to breakcore.
I like music, you know?
Books:
Quality worldbuiling (Hannu Rajaniemi, Neal Stephenson, William Gibson), an eye for the truth (Hunter S. Thompson, Douglas Adams), and cutting, compassionate insight into the human condition (Kurt Vonnegut, Phillip K. Dick).
Movies:
Don't watch a lot of movies. Drive, Fight Club, Let the Right One In, Kikujiro,..
Not a movie, but... FLCL!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organized the chill stage for Esthetic Evolution 10.
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't understand what's being asked of me here...
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can do dishes, for sure.
Or I can also do some decent modular Origami, which people seem to find pretty cool and enjoy as gifts.
