About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Help travelers as I was helped by other CS in my last trip

ABOUT ME

I'm an open minded girl who'd like to meet a lot of different people to learn more about their countries and culture. I know couchsurfing since january 2007 and I think it's a wonderful way for travellers to meet local people and save money at the same time. My friend and I have used it for our first trip in Europe and we liked it very much, we learned a lot about people's culture, more than every book or museum would do for sure! I encourage people to use couchsurfing and don't be shy to ask me for hosting!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a life lover, I like to take time for good dinners with a tasty wine and good friends. Work and money are not my priorities in life. My main goal is to always have projects and be amazed by simple things for my whole life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

How do I participate? Simple: everytime I meet a travel's lover, I talk about CS!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been two times in Europe, one with a friend and the last one on my own. I used couchsurfing in both cases, but more when I was alone cause it was a way for me to fight the loneliness and know more about the country, discuss with local people, etc.
I've never had a bad experience in couchsurfing, always kind people really generous. These people are my best souvenirs from my trips, I'll never forget them.

I'm really opened to host people at home, it's a kind of "pay back" for me and I think it's very important, if possible, to give to others as we received. I can understand that it's not possible for everyone sometimes, but I really believe that host people is another kind of travelling that everyone should try :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... to stay in the subject of CS, my first experience of couchsurfing was at Emmanuel's place in Marseille. This guy is really incredible! I was the 120th couchsurfer in his place, but he was doing it just for fun, to help people. He has never couchsurfed himself and don't plan to do it in the future!
At that time, I thought to myself that generous people still exist in this world, despite all the bad things you can see in newspaper!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I think that whatever you are and wherever you come from, a good CS experience begins by opening your mind and get all you can from other's culture. If people see that you're interested to them and respectful with their way to live, then it's supposed to be a great time for everyone :)
