CURRENT MISSION
My mission is "Carpe Diem"
ABOUT ME
I'm a vegetarian and I love to cook. I also love to ride my bicycle. I enjoy singing and have done a little musical theater. I volunteer as a stage manager at a couple of summer festivals.
PHILOSOPHY
Do unto others...I'm a huge believer in karma.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted surfers and have surfed myself. I have seen cities through the eyes of locals. I hope to provide surfers that experience as much as I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My boyfriend and I couch surfed in Italy and Germany and had wonderful hosts. We have also couch surfed in Brunswick, Camden, and Bar Harbor, Maine. All our hosts were awesome in Maine, too! We also surfed in Salt Lake City and had an awesome host there as well.
Centres d'intérêt
A little gardening and composting. I also enjoy sampling different beers and wines. I've done some theatre, too. Mostly stage managing, but sometimes the director lets me in front of the curtain! My favorite roles have been Elaine in "Arsenic and Old Lace" and Countess Ilona Bathory in "The House of Frankenstein."

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
My favorite authors are Neil Gaiman, David Sedaris, and Kurt Vonnegut.
I love Irish music. My favorite bands are Street Dogs, The Prodigals, and Eileen Ivers. I also won't say no to banjo music, especially the Carolina Chocolate Drops.
I enjoy movies. I just seldom take the time to watch them. I have recently become hooked on "American Horror Story" and "Bates Motel".
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
I've seen the Northern Lights in Upper Michigan. Quite amazing and surreal. Also, ask me about my tandem skydiving experience!
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
I learned a little something about composting from my CS hosts in Brunswick, ME. Because of their example, I've started my own composting. I've also switched to cloth napkins to cut down on my paper towel usage.
I could teach someone how to eat healthfully as a vegetarian. I also bike commute to work a couple times a week and can give safety tips about riding in traffic.
