About Me
Hello everybody!
I began my life in Mendoza, Argentina where I worked in the tourism industry, taking on roles in a hostel and as a sommelier, while also participating in research projects related to local development.
Subsequently, I receive a scholarship for studying urban development and ecological building in Toulouse.
After that I dedicated 6 years working in high education with the opportunity to work in Colombia for three years!
My drive to expand led me to California, where I embraced the world of sailing, all while renovating my brother's sailboat that was my house for half year.
Then I joining as a crew for a Pacific Ocean crossing from Mexico to the French Polynesian islands aboard a 45-foot monohull. I navigated through the archipelagos, rekindling my passion for geography.
I was living in Tahiti, where I take care of two children as guardian.
Then I moved to New Zealand with my boyfriend, where I was working in the yard period of one amazing sail boat, whit whom we are crossing the Pacific, from South to North, now working as the chef.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoy más que nunca, con el auge de la turistificación, me parece importante esta comunidad como una resistencia a la lógica capitalista de mercantilizar lo local ante un global que banaliza y excluye.
