Overview
About Me
I'm half-Argentine half-Jewish American and have lived most of my life caught between interests and identities that are not necessarily conflicting but rather unconventional. I'm double majoring in biology and global affairs, and focusing at their overlap in the field of global health.
I write creative fiction, poetry, and nonfiction. I also enjoy sculpting and singing (I can't promise that I'm good at either).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and exploring new places. I also prefer to stay in home environments rather than impersonal dorm rooms. I've found through my travels that its quite easy to meet and connect with foreigners through hostels or random encounters on touristy excursions, but connecting with locals is more challenging when one is on the go. But what is travel if one does not get a sense of a place aside from its attractions? Couchsurfing seems like the perfect way to meet locals and get a more authentic experience.
Interests
I've been practicing yoga for 4 years and have been trying to dance for the past 20. I can't spend a day without writing although most of it will go unseen. I love discussing world issues and the more nuanced things in life.
