About Me

**PLEASE READ**
I live with my parents at the moment, so it's impossible for me to host you. I hope to have my own place and be able to offer you something next year.
**PLEASE READ**

I finished my degree this year and I am travelling around before I start working.
It is strange to write about me, but I will do my best :)
I grow up in a little village in Portugal and I went to Porto for university.
I am a very communicative girl, I love to talk and to meet new people. Everytime I see a tourist lost in the street or if they ask for some help, I always try to help as much as I can.

I am trying to be less materialistic and to care more about people's feelings and experiences.
I love to do Yoga, play football, and to go to "Paredes de Coura festival" (the best music festival in the north of Portugal). I like camping and discover wild thermal waters that exist near my home town (Melgaço), and nature.
I am veggie friendly :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is my first time on CS.
I join in because I wanted to have a different experience while I am travelling.
I did erasmus in London and I met a lot of local's people. That helped me to live the city as a local and I loved the experience. The best part of it is that I made a lot of friends.
I hope to have a very good experience on CS.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and books! Unfortunately I do not spend so much time watching films or series, as I would like to.

I like alternative, indie and indie-rock music. Some examples are: Bon Iver, Beirut, Metronomy, Soft Hair, Slowdive, Future Islands, The XX... Or some Portuguese artist like Noiserv, Best youth, Tiago Bettencourt, Jiboia, Linda Martini...
I really love to go to music festivals, in special to Paredes de Coura, where you can camp and have music all day for a all week. The other music festival I like are Primavera Sound and Andanças.
Unfortunately, I am not a very good dancer, but I like to learn. I love to go to folk music nights and try to learn, but mazurkas are too difficult for me ;(((
I love everything that Yann Tiersen does :)

My favourite film is "Le fabuleux destin d'amélie poulain" (yes, I like french films ). I also love, La vita è bella, it is just fantastic! These are the type of films I like to watch.

I used to read Stephen King when I was a kid, then I started to read romance (like Isabel Allende and Leasly Pearse), and historical romance (like Philippa Gregory). Now I am trying to read classic novels, so I am reading Júlio Verne at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Visit Romania (cluj and bucarest) - best trip so far!
