Hello my name's Sofia and I currently live in Copenhagen, Denmark where I'm in law school. I love travelling with both family and friends, especially in the bigger cities of the world.
I have a big passion for food, and whenever I go travelling one of the top points on my "to-do-list" is trying out the local dishes.
Since I'm part Danish/part Italian I've traveled a lot in Italy, which is also one of my favorite travel destinations.
I love meeting new people and I'm a very open person.
If I where to stay at your home I promise to treat it with a great deal of respect and delicassy. I believe letting new people live in one's home shows a great deal of trust and I could and would never do anything to break that trust.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that the best way to experince a new place is through the eyes of a local. I always love getting to know new people and i really believe couchsurfing is a great way to explore cities while also making new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative and folk music, there's just something about it that relaxes me, to name a few: First Aid Kit, Arcade Fire, Grizzly Bear, and Portugal. The Man.
However, I also love dancing and any music with a good beat and rhythm will get me out of the chair :D

When it comes to movies, it really depends on my mood, sometimes its the serious movies like Drive and An Education I really like to watch and sometimes I just need an easy Romantic Comedy to laugh at, like The Wedding Date or The Proposal. One of my all-time favorite movies will however always be Forest Gump, I've seen it more times than I am willing to admit!

I'm a big reader and I can easily consume an entire book a day.. I need to work on my self control when it comes to that ;) Most of the time it's light hearted chick-lit(a guilty pleasure), I just love being able to turn the brain off for a couple of hours and forget reality. However, I also really like mystery books, and I always enjoy a good puzzle like The Davinci Code.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Las Cataratas del Iguazu in Argentina (they are located between the border of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay). They are definitely one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen and I will forever treasure that memory.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook, and that is definitely something that I can both teach but also share. I believe the way to anyone's heart goes through their stomach ;)
