I am an American student currently studying in Bordeaux, France. I'm a human development major with a minor in education. I want to work with children either as a psychologist or teacher.

I love to learn and am a big nerd for the history. I am very open to new experiences and new people!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently doing home stay and that has been such an amazing experience. Couch surfing seems to provide that same interaction that I love from my home stay. That is to say, actually getting a different point of view and cultural perspective. Also, getting a local's recommendation on places to go and things to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being in Europe. I know that sounds really lame, but this is my first time outside of the United States. I arrived to France knowing only how to say my name and how to order something. After being here for about 4 months, I can keep up a conversation and that, to me, is pretty amazing.
