Hello! My name is Sofia and I'm a 24-year old video game and film journalist currently working for a gaming magazine in Norway, as well as in marketing and social media for a Norwegian commercial real estate firm - yes, they aren't really connected professions, but is there one thing I love it's opposites.

I come from a family of opposites, of different cultures, races and religions, which has made me open and accepting of all types of people. I love meeting new people and learning about their life, their secrets, their dreams and motivations in life, and enjoy long talks over a coffee or glass of wine. My favorite kinds of people are trusting, open, kind, fun-loving and impulsive, looking to share and enjoy life through new impulses.

I love traveling, and have been to 7 countries and lived in 3.

First reason is that I'm travelling to Los Angeles this summer with a good friend of mine, and in the midst of looking for motels, apartments and the occasional basement, a friend suggested couchsurfing. The idea was right up my alley, and after reading an article or two about this amazing website I decided to take the plunge and look for new amazing people to meet, in which I can share experiences with and make new friendships I hope will stand the test of time.

Musica, film e libri

Music is a big part of my life, and I listen to pretty much every genre. There's a special place in my heart for rock, especially 60s and 70s rock, but that space has also been occupied by hip hop the past few months. Favorites include Marilyn Manson, Kendrick Lamar, Empire Of The Sun, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Above & Beyond, Sigur Ros - and pretty much every song on the Grand Theft Auto 5 radio stations.

With the exception for romantic 'chick flicks' I'm into most films, especially horror and action. Favorites include The Fountain, The Exorcist, Cloud Atlas, The Matrix, Inception, The Dark Knight, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, Shaun Of The Dead, Battle Royale etc.

I need to mention video games at this point, as it's probably my favorite medium. I've been doing gaming journalism for a few years, and my favorite games include Left 4 Dead, Bioshock Infinite, Tekken 3, Journey, L.A. Noire and GTA V.

I can share knowledge on different cultures, mindsets, philosophies and ways the world work. I can teach you basic Yoga, as I've done it for a few years. I can also teach you a thing or two on how to become good at certain video games- certain being the key term here (I'm actually not that great). I enjoy long conversations about life and everything in it, and love to inspire as much as be inspired.
