About Me

I'm a positive, open-minded, creative and (usually) energetic Finnish-Russian psychology student from Helsinki, Finland. I love animals, love taking care of them - I have 3 wonderful rescue-cats and my family has 4 lovely resque-dogs. I feel very sorry for homeless animals and when possible, I try to help them as much as I can.

I love meeting interesting people, have a nice talk, do different interesting activities together. I’m a spontaneous and creative person, so I love unusual ideas and try to make my life more colorful.

I love reading different literature, I’m interested in urbanism, town planning, I like arts (drawing sometimes myself) and photography, plus all possible kinds of sports (table tennis one of the most loved ones), also I love swimming in the sea or lake over everything else. Oh, and I loooove learning languages, I don’t think I’ll ever stop doing that :D

My passion is psychology. My plan is to become a psychotherapist one day, and right now I`m doing my bachelor’s in St. Petersburg.

Due to the difficut situation in the world though I’ve been living for around 3 past years in Greece with my boyfriend, while studying online.

•• I’m a curious person, who likes to observe, listen to different opinions and thoughts, and see this world from as many angles as possible. But I’m also really emotional sometimes and like to present my opinions and ideas! :)
Really love other open and honest people❤️

Music, Movies, and Books

I love different sorts of music - it really depends on my mood and on the song. I love meaningful lyrics, but it`s also sometimes nice to chill to absolutely meaningless songs. I really like all the old music - 60s, 70s, 80s, some of the 90s. Old rock like Beatles, for example, are always loved by me. Reggae is love, and hip-hop is loved too, when the mood is right.

I love watching movies, mostly some warm comedies. Watching some old movies over and over again makes me feel really cozy. "Jumanji", ”La La Land”, ”Another Woman” are some of my favourite movies, but I have really lots of them.

I'm always reading books as well. Recently been reading a lot of classics, but I usually like all the nicely written interesting and meaningful books. Love Dickens, Dostoevski, but also some other lighter writers. “Generation “P”” is one of the loved books, “Miracle Morning” is something that changed my life, and "Harry Potter"-books I could read 100s of times over again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The summer 2017, when I was 19, I left backpacking to Croatia with my sister for the first time in my life for what was supposed to be 2 weeks, but haven't returned back to Finland for a year. I was so desperate with all the routine I had back home, that suddenly I’ve realised I need a huge, extreme change in my life. So I went to Bosnia & Herzegovinia to volunteer in a hostel, while my sister went back to Finland. After spending a month there, I continued to Sicily and volunteered there in a B&B for a month, then did the same thing for 2 months in London, UK, until I found a job there and rented a room. Then I spent another 7 really unusual for me months in England, learning a lot of new things, and, as I think, grew a lot as a personality working through all the challenges of the independent life.
