Hi! Im Sofia, 29 year old journalist. I'm currently living in Pichilemu, Chile’s surf capital. I love traveling but I love my country as well and can help you plan your Chilean experience.
I'm half Chilean and half Russian, but the Chilean genes were stronger. Still this mix has given me the opportunity to understand and appreciate the mix of cultures.
Im lucky to have been traveling since I was 3 years old and I think it’s something I can’t stop doing as it brings me so muy joy, happiness and wisdom.
On my free time I like to do yoga, run on the beach and read.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think one of the best things about traveling is meeting new people and collaborating between us. Meeting new people also means engaging with them, let them show you a little of their world and in exchange bring a little of my world to their house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2016 I volunteered as an a English teacher in Honduras. It was an experience that has marked for my life and encouraged me to continue traveling.
Then I lived in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica for almost 2 years.
