About Me
READ THIS BEFORE YOU SEND A REQUEST/MESSAGE
***
For all the people who will try to contact me through my Facebook profile - don't. I won't answer and I will immediately block you. If your amount of requests is limited so you can't send me one, then pay for verification to be able to send more requests. I find contacting me through other sites than cs extremely rude.
I don't give my number to people I don't know. If I personally haven't shared my number with you and you send me a message anyway, I WILL block you.
This is NOT a dating site. If you ask me out on a date I won't reply.
Also - if you want to stay with me, send a REQUEST with proper DATES on it. Then I will either accept or decline.
I will say NO to last-minute requests. When sending a request, you must send it at least TWO DAYS BEFORE your stay.
I CAN ONLY HOST 1 PERSON AT A TIME. I literally will not have space to sleep myself if I host two people or more, so especially if the amount of requests you can send is limited, do not send that request to me.
***
I'm a 22-year old student living in Helsinki. I'm currently studying Polish language as my major.
I don't drink alcohol.
I'm vegan (for the most part). I don't feel like arguing about it - I'm not here to judge you. My roommates eat meat.
One of my favorite things on couchsurfing is being able to talk the languages I'm currently learning with my guests. The languages I was raised with are Finnish and Swedish, aber ich spreche auch gerne Deutsch. Mówię też po polsku, a nie bardzo dobrze. Govorim i 'naš' jezik, a razumem više nego govorim.
I'm a morning person. I'm usually very energetic in the mornings, tired in the evenings.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to have guests over, meet new people and hear new perspectives.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like to sing, but I've never taken singing lessons.
I hardly ever read fiction. Most books I read are about society, history, language, some specific country etc. This is not because I wouldn't like to read fiction, but because it's usually easier to find interesting books that aren't fiction.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This is a tricky one.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would be really happy if you could learn me things about your own culture - how do you say things, how does your language work, in what way are things different than here?
If you speak some language that I'm learning please try to speak to me a lot in that language, because it will be very good for me. It doesn't even matter what you say, the important part is to listen. Even if I don't know your language, I love to listen to languages, so you can talk anyway. I would really like to learn what different languages sound like even if I don't speak them myself.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Because Finnish people always think they need to help when they are guests somewhere, I will also try my best to help out and not be in your way. I will usually try to bring something nice with me. I've hosted quite many people, so I know what kind of guests are nice/easy/pleasant to have around.
