I’m Sofia, I’m 25 years old, and I live in Verona, the famous city of Romeo and Juliet.

I am a student of Languages and International Business at the University of Verona. Traveling and discovering new cultures are among my greatest passions. In addition to Italian, which is my native language, I speak fluent German, English, and Spanish, and I am currently studying Mandarin Chinese.

I am an ambitious person with many plans for the future. I love music, play the guitar, and have a passion for art in all its forms. As an Italian, I enjoy cooking and like to think of myself as a good cook!

I love indie pop, which offers catchy melodies and poetic lyrics; artists like Amy Winehouse, with her unmistakable voice and vintage style, manage to convey deep emotions through every note.

I also enjoy reggae, with its relaxed vibes and message of unity and love. Bands like Noemi bring freshness and authenticity, blending pop and soul elements, while R&B offers enveloping rhythms and seductive melodies that speak of personal experiences and relationships.

Additionally, Afro music holds a special place in my heart, with its energetic rhythms and authentic flavor that can make anyone dance. These musical genres, each with its own charm, intertwine to create a soundtrack of my life, rich in emotions and unforgettable moments.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer, I decided to take advantage of my freedom and live an unforgettable adventure. Initially, I called all the beach bars along the coast of Portugal to see if they were looking for staff for the summer season. To my surprise, everyone said yes! This motivated me to dig deeper into my search and explore the various opportunities available.
After careful consideration, I found a surf camp located along the beautiful sea of Sagres. I scheduled an interview and, excited about the opportunity, bought my ticket to leave the very same day.
My adventure in Portugal lasted two months, during which I learned to surf, living each day as if it were a dream. The waves, the sun, and the sea breeze became my daily routine as I enjoyed the beauty of nature and Portuguese culture. It was a summer I will never forget, filled with emotions, new friendships, and unforgettable moments.
