Overview
About Me
Hey, I’m Sofia ☀️
I’m a student who loves traveling, discovering new places and, most of all, meeting new people. At the moment, I’m doing an exchange semester in Copenhagen – a city that fits perfectly with my love for nature, community, and creative living.
In my free time, I love dancing, reading, and spending time outdoors – in forests, by the water, or anywhere I can breathe and feel grounded. I practice fire performance, enjoy festivals, and often wander through medieval markets, where I instantly feel at home ✨
Environmental protection and social issues are very close to my heart, and I’m actively engaged in both. I’m curious about different ways of living, thinking, and organizing society, and I love exchanging ideas, learning from others, and expanding my perspective.
People describe me as open-hearted, cheerful, and easygoing – always up for fun and good conversations, whether deep or light. I enjoy shared meals, long walks, dancing, laughing, and simply spending time together.
If you’re up for exchange, openness, and good vibes, I’d be happy to meet you 🌍💛
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe places make the most sense through the people who live there. I enjoy shared moments more than ticking off sights — conversations in the kitchen, spontaneous walks, learning how others see and live in the world.
For me, Couchsurfing is about exchange, trust, and curiosity rather than just accommodation. I’m here to listen, to share stories, and to experience places in a more human and grounded way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While camping by a fjord in Sweden, I once paddled out in a canoe late at night. With every movement of the paddle, the water around us began to glow — soft blue light swirling through the dark. It was bioluminescent, as if the fjord was full of stars.
We sat there in silence for a while, surrounded by glowing water and night air. It felt unreal, quiet, and deeply grounding — one of those moments that stays with you forever.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I may not come with a specific craft or to offer, but I bring genuine company, openness, and curiosity. I enjoy sharing conversations, laughter, meals, and everyday moments.
I love exchanging knowledge, perspectives, and experiences — whether that’s talking about life, nature, culture, or learning about each other’s interests and hobbies. If there’s something you’re passionate about, I’m happy to listen and learn, and I’m always open to sharing what I know in return.
For me, hosting and surfing are about mutual exchange, presence, and creating a good atmosphere together.
