Hi, I'm Sofia, a young and fun loving Italian girl. I have been a nurse for almost 10 years but I spend my time mainly traveling, to enrich my person and to learn things that life cannot teach me in any other way.
I have a beautiful family in Italy, from which I return between one trip and another. I am an only child but I always have my dearest friends by my side which is as if they were missing sisters. I also have a very sweet black dog named Joey. You must know that I love animals, of any kind, more than anything in the world, and I would do anything for them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Thanks to Couchsurfing I have the opportunity to visit places with the help of the people who live there; discovering a country through the perfect knowledge of a local gives you the opportunity to learn 100% the true soul of that country ... something that cannot be done alone.
During my trip I was hosted many times through couchsurfing and so I met many wonderful people with whom I am still in contact today. Unfortunately I had to change my profile so I lost all the reviews but I created an album with the most salient photos that you can find on this new profile.

I'm a huge fan of TV series: from Grey's Anatomy to Squid Game ... I've seen them all !!
My flaw? I don't like reading books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019 I started backpacking full time. I left my daily routine to travel to Asia (my favorite continent) all by land, without plane only hitch hiking and public transport, my boyfriend, and I spent 431 consecutive days there.
My dream is to be able to go around the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn the true customs and cultures of the country I am visiting with the precious help of my host, trying everything that can be characteristic.
I love to come into contact with cultures far from mine and immortalize their history through the use of the camera. I would like to learn a lot more about photography and about endangered minority ethnic groups and if maybe there is someone among you who could help me that would be great.
My English is getting better so I love to practice speaking it as much as possible.
I am an excellent cook and I could teach you some real Italian recipes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook the Italian dishes you prefer; I can tell about my travels or Italian traditions. I can help children at school or collaborate at home with my host by doing small daily jobs such as cooking, cleaning, gardening ... I am a really helpful person and I will be happy to help you in any way!
