My name is Sofia and I’m a Portuguese girl leaving in London! I came to London 2 years ago to be a volunteer with British Red Cross. I love to travel and communicate. I truly love cultures and discover new things. I believe that it makes us open minded and to get to know ourselves. My dream is one day run the world contributing for human development!

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

I was introduced to couchsurfing when I was a student back in Portugal with a friend. I made a profile and that year I received 2 couchsurfers. Unfortunately I hadn’t had either opportunity to host a lot of people or to do myself couchsurfing. But last year I started to travel a bit more and I was hosted by 3 couchsurfers, 1 in Amsterdam, and 2 in Turkey! All I can say is : what an amazing experience! There’s nothing better than meet new people and see new places through their eyes. So I believe in the spirit of sharing and as a people lover I found this a really good way to keep meeting people from all over the world.
