HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I tend to treat my guests like friends. We hang out, cook, go out on the town and I always try to share tips and suggestions to visitors. I will usually come along to any activities I am able to.

I make it a point to be overly kind to strangers :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really believe in the Couchsurfing culture as one to live by. I love sharing food, ideas, experiences, knowledge and good memories :) I always feel at home with couch surfers and I'm always happy to be part of someone else life journey and they a part of mine.

I like to attend Couchsurfing meet ups if I can't host or am traveling solo and it always just feels like a group of loosely acquainted friends hanging out talking about their travels or just what's going on in their lives at the moment. I find this way of meeting people very useful in breaking the ice and in some ways very healing as each experience restores my faith in humanity a little bit.

There are always ups and downs on the journey but I always try to see the positive in all experiences :)

兴趣

I enjoy doing so many different things...I love art, culture, slam poetry, hiking, biking, badminton, yoga, meditation, climbing trees stand up comedy, psychology, people watching, podcasts, journaling, photography, fashion and of course traveling as much as possible!

Being near water calms me so I love just kicking back at the the beach or somewhere scenic and chatting about life or whatever is on your mind, perhaps with a beverage of some kind :)

I love sharing the simple moments in life with people.

This is very difficult, I have very eclectic taste in music... I love to listen to live music when I can.
I enjoy Indie, Jazz, Funk,RnB, hip hop, Afro beats, country, old school rock n' roll, electric, classical...+more

For movies you really can't go wrong with an old fashioned romantic comedy, but I love, drama, comedies, psychological thrillers and international films. I have a special place in my heart for independent films too.

I can't narrow down a favourite book but I do love books that give me a glimpse into a world entirely different from my own.

I hiked Pedra da Gavea in Rio de Janeiro with a group of couchsurfers I met at a meetup..I was totally unprepared for the obstacle but I overcame it and it was truly amazing!!

I love to share stories, advice, comic relief and a very bright and warm vibe with anyone I meet :) I will always share my food and I am happy to help with English conversation practice if you like.

I love dancing but I don't know if I am qualified to teach :P We can try though!

A positive attitude, an open mind and good conversation, healthy debate on interesting issues or just a chill vibe to relax after a long day!

I am also willing to help with cooking and home tasks as I like to act like a friend more than a guest :)
