About Me
■ FOR THE LAZY ONES: BASICS BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST

■ SOMETHING ABOUT ME
I'd say that I'm easygoing and friendly, but who doesn't say that. I tend to use my hands quite a lot when speaking, especially when I'm excited. I can never finish what I'm doing in a row. I love having a good conversation but I also need my time to just lay down and watch Netflix. I'm usually the first one to dance at a party, if only parties in Argentina started earlier... if only I wouldn't like mornings and sunlight and breakfast and coffee...
What I love the most in life is to be mind blown by knowledge. I'm an academic spirit, I can't help it. Particularly, I´m passionate about Spanish grammar and I have a strong background in it. At the moment, I´m a member of a research project depending on the University of Buenos Aires and I´m co-directing an international project on attitudes towards Spanish varieties for the rioplatense area. Hopefully, next year I´ll be starting a PhD program in Linguistics.
I also love teaching and I´ve been doing it professionally since 2006.
I speak this much English, some Italian, and I’m currently studying Swedish. I am also interested in gender studies, politics, economy, and the humanities in general.
From my more earthly side, I dance zouk and I don´t think I have the right words to express how much I love it. Here´s two of my favourite videos in case you haven´t heard of it:

I can also (kind of) improvise some tango but it´s not really my thing.
When I am not teaching, studying or dancing I spend my time watching series, listening to live music or hanging out with friends.
This is my blog. You will find here some more references about me as a teacher:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling is a privilege more than anything else and accommodation is one of the reasons (along with flight fees & strength of your currency and passport). CS is a great opportunity to help and be helped and to be a part of a network that proves that not everything is about the money. I like above all the pay-it-forward spirit behind it. My first experience was as a surfer in Rio and I loved it so much that I started hosting as soon as moved to my own place. I recently had the chance to host him and to return the favor :-) Also, I'm of the thinking that social skills have to be trained or else they get rusty, so CS is perfect for that too.
